Speeding from
port on a Contender
boat is a height of offshore fishing.
The vessels
had been built
solely for offshore --
for the seas, distances,
speed, comfort and
more -- as well as any
or better.
So how could anything be added to the Contender experience?
A Contender could be built for the bay.
The Contender 25 Bay Boat has been introduced.
This boat is so new that hardly any information about it was available at press time, like a Web page or other literature.
But the specs, a video simply showing the boat sailing, and these photos, actually lifted from the video, were on tap.
The vessel is 25 feet
4 inches long, with an
8-foot 6-inch beam,
12 inches of draft, a 15.5-degree deadrise at the transom, and a 350 h.p. maximum rating.

the
boat.
When you ran offshore on a Contender, even the look of the boat screamed that this was a serious vessel.
In a word, it was a contender, indeed.
Simply looking at the specs and video does the same for the bay boat.
This boat looks
to be a height of
bay fishing.
It’s a Contender.

Look for the site to include the Bay Boat eventually.
