Many fishing lines advertise strength,
“but too many fall short on fishability,”
Stren says.
Lines that are built to be tough are
sometimes thick, stiff and
difficult to cast, the company says.
So Stren has introduced
Brute Strength monofilament.
Brute Strength is made to be
brutally strong – nearly twice as strong as the label indicates, Stren says – but small in diameter and easier to cast.
A “co-polymer formula,” a new propietary one from the company, gives the line extra strength and flexibility, Stren says.
The flexibility offers less memory
and better handling than other
extra-strength monos, it says.
Brute Strength is available in
6- to
40-pound test in two colors: Clear/Blue Fluorescent and Lo-Vis Green.
The line can be fished for everything from largemouth bass
in freshwater to bull redfish in salt.
In fact, take angling for those two fish for example: A line with strength
but finesse can count.
